Bulldogs defeated by Sault Ste. Marie, 4-1

The Hamilton Bulldogs were hoping for a better outcome while in Northern Ontario, they dropped a 4-1 decision in Sault Ste.Marie, Saturday night.

Just under eight minutes in the first period, 1-0, Greyhounds. Marian Studenic forced a turnover at the blue line. Michael Cramarossa took care of the rest tying things up at 1-1.

Just 30 seconds later, the Greyhounds re-gained the lead.

The Bulldogs ran into penalty trouble at the end of the second period and started the third period with two men in the penalty box.

Final shots on goal were 37-33 in favour of Sault Ste.Marie.

With the loss, the Bulldogs season record drops to 12-7-3-0 with their road record dropping to 8-5.

Hamilton will be back in action November 24 to play the Colts in Barrie before returning to FirstOntario Centre for two games.
