Police say a break-in at the University of Guelph may have compromised the personal information of about 20,000 students.

Fifteen computers and external hard drives were stolen from campus last month during a break and enter. The hard drives had personal details about students including names, addresses, contact information and Social Insurance Numbers. Guelph police and campus police are investigating.
