Break-and-enter suspect arrested in Brant County

A Brantford man has been charged after a break-and-enter at a commercial property in Brant County.

On July 11, Brant County OPP responded to a report of a suspicious person at a vacant property on Old Onondaga Road West.

Police arrived and found that the intruder had illegally entered the premises and had stolen a number of items.

Darcy Miller, 35, has been charged with break-and-enter, theft and possession of property obtained by crime — both under $5,000 — possession of break-in instruments, mischief and failure to comply with a probation order.

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
