A Brantford resident is facing multiple charges in connection with a cross-border child sexual exploitation investigation.
Ontario Provincial Police and Brantford police launched the case early last month after the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force contacted officers in Brantford regarding inappropriate conversations on Snapchat between a young girl and a man in the city.
Investigators then identified 21 additional victims who were coerced into sharing intimate photos, often through threats or extortion.
Police carried out a search warrant at a home in Brantford on Sept. 6.

The Brantford resident was charged with five separate offences, including luring a child and making child pornography.
Officers say the name of the accused cannot be released under the terms of a court-imposed publication ban.
Investigators say there could be additional victims and they expect more charges to be laid.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the OPP child sexual exploitation unit at 1-888-310-1122.
