Brantford police seize over $215,000 in illegal drugs, arrest two

Brantford police have arrested two people and seized over $215,000 in illegal drugs.

On Wednesday, June 29, police say they initiated a drug trafficking investigation. Police obtained a search warrant and executed it on July 8 at a Drummond Street residence.

As a result of the search, officers seized around $134,240 worth of fentanyl, around $81,810 worth of methamphetamine, a large amount of cash, packaging material commonly used in trafficking drugs, a digital scale and three cell phones.

Police say the total estimated street value of the illegal drugs seized is $216,050.

Jonathan Ludwig, 35, of Brantford has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation. Dakota Coleman, 22, has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
