Brantford police seize loaded handgun and over $65k in illicit drugs

Brantford police have seized a loaded handgun and over $64,000 in illicit drugs after a call from a concerned citizen.

On Tuesday, Aug. 9 at around 2:00 a.m., police received a call from a concerned citizen saying a man in a vehicle had been pointing a firearm at people on Grand River Avenue.

Police say officers arrived on scene and located the accused man within a vehicle. He was arrested without incident.

Officers found a loaded 9mm handgun, ammunition and over 64,000 in illicit drugs.

As a result, 25-year-old Nathan Guy Forbes, of Paris, is charged with multiple offences.
