Brantford police seek witnesses to fatal pedestrian collision

Brantford police are asking for witnesses to come forward following a fatal collision involving a pedestrian Friday night.

Officers say that around 7:10 p.m. a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area of West Street and Burnley Avenue.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital where they would succumb to their injuries despite life-saving efforts being taken.

Police say that the driver of the vehicle involved remained on scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has dashcam or security footage of the collision is asked to contact investigators at 519-756-0113 ext. 2820.
