Brantford police say impaired driver drove into Colborne St. business

Brantford police have laid impaired driving charges after a pickup truck was driven into a business on Colborne Street Saturday.

Officers say at around 2 p.m., they received reports of a collision. Upon arriving at the scene they say they learned that a pickup truck had crashed into a local business.

The collision caused significant damage to the interior and exterior of the Colborne Street business.

Investigators say the driver was arrested and charged with impaired driving, issued a 90-day license suspension and the truck was impounded.

Police have not identified the accused.
