Brantford police recover 11 cars worth $1.5 million after auto theft bust

Brantford police say they’ve recovered 11 vehicles worth $1.5 million after a large auto theft bust last week.

After a series of car thefts sparked an investigation, officers with the Auto Theft Unit executed a search warrant at a building on Spalding Drive last Wednesday.

Police say they recovered 11 high-end luxury vehicles during the search. All had been reported stolen from neighbouring jurisdictions.

Officers are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at 519-756-7050. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 519-750-8477.
