Brantford police charge 2 people after $80K in fentanyl seized

Brantford police have arrested and charged two people after seizing over $80,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Officers say the force carried out a search warrant at an address on Sheridan St. on Wednesday.

Investigators found $82,840 worth of fentanyl, as well as firearm ammunition, a digital scale, cell phone and Canadian cash.

A 19-year-old from Woodbridge and a 67-year-old Brantford man have been charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (fentanyl).
