Brantford police have charged a thirty-six-year old local man with trafficking following a search warrant at an illegal magic mushroom store in the city.

On Sept. 16 Brantford police started an investigation into a shop which had re-opened on Murray Street. The illegal retail business had been previously shut down by police two times.

A Sept. 26 warrant led to police seizing over 3,400 grams of suspected psilocybin with an estimated street value of over $43,000.
