Boy with mystery disease dies

A 2-year old Hamilton toddler who doctors called a medical miracle has died of a mystery illness.

Doctors believe Brayden Richards suffered from a rare genetic condition, but his mother says they never reached a concrete diagnosis. He was rushed to McMaster Children’s Hospital on Friday when his heart began to race, but all of sudden, his heart simply stopped beating early Saturday morning.

A funeral service is planned for Wednesday
