Body found inside burning vehicle in West Lincoln

Niagara police are investigating after a body was found inside a burning vehicle in West Lincoln.

Officers were called to the area of Krick Rd. just south of Elcho Rd. around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

When emergency crews arrived on scene they found a vehicle engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished and the body of a deceased person was discovered inside the vehicle.

Detectives are now investigating the incident with the assistance of the Office of the Coroner and the Ontario Fire Marshal.
