Body found at Milton golf course

Halton police are investigating the discovery of a body in Milton.

Police say on June 9, at around 1:00 p.m., they were contacted by Royal Ontario Golf Club after a body was spotted in the water of Sixteen Mile Creek on the course.

Halton Regional Police Marine Unit with the assistance from the Peel Regional Police Marine Unit and Milton Fire removed the body. Police have confirmed the body to be a man.

Investigators are still working to determine the identity of the person found.
