Billionaire philanthropist Sir Richard Branson was in Toronto today, calling for greater protection for Canada’s polar bear population.

Branson was with his foundation Virgin Unite along with actress Bo Derek. They’re supporting the Canadian chapter of WildAid
, an organization leading the development of a polar bear protection act for Ontario. It will be tabled at Queen’s Park as a private member’s bill this spring. Branson expressed his support, and called on all Ontarians to do their part.
