Beach day in Niagara

The first Friday in June is known to many students in the Niagara Region as “Beach Day”.

Mainly grade 11 and 12 students ditch class and head to the nearest beach.

There were hundreds of high school students from all over the Niagara region at Crystal Beach.

Beach Day is not a sanctioned school event. Both school boards say that students are expected to be in class but the students here have been giving me mixed messages.
