If you’re a foodie and from Hamilton, your Friday nights just got a lot more appetizing.

Every Friday until September, food trucks will be on hand at Pier 9, just a few metres from the historic Warship Haida.

Food lovers can sample everything from savoury smoked meats and poutine, to confections and unique drink ideas.

The event will be helping a special cause, as vendors will be giving 10% of their proceeds to the Navy League of Canada.

The weekly event runs from 4:30-8 p.m. and ends the Friday after Labour Day.
