Bank robbery in Dundas

(update) Hamilton Police are searching for three suspects after a bank robbery in Dundas Tuesday morning. They were seen fleeing a dark, possibly purple Ford Focus wagon in the Pleasant Valley Neighbourhood.

That same car was at University Plaza. One man ran into it after robbing a bank at the strip mall. He went into the bank with what’s described as a silver handgun.

He jumped the counter and made off with a grocery bag full of cash, then jumped into the car and it took off. He’s described as white, about 5’8″ to 5’10”, 150 pounds and was wearing black gloves and a black mask.

Police believe two other suspects were waiting for him in the car
