Bail hearing continues for woman accused in Bosma killing

Day two of a bail hearing for the woman accused of helping Tim Bosma’s accused killers has wrapped up in Hamilton.

Two full days still has not been enough to decide if Christina Noudga will get bail while she awaits trial on a charge of accessory after the fact.

22-year old Christina Noudga was Dellen Millard’s girlfriend at the time he was arrested. Her arrest came in April of this year, almost a full year after Millard was charged with the first-degree murder of Ancaster father Tim Bosma. In court today, Noudga smiled to her parents and her friends who came to support her.

Her mother Emily did not wish to speak with reporters today. She left with the family’s lawyer Paul Mergler. Emily Noudga’s husband, and Christina’s father Maxom left a while earlier — he also did not wish to speak. There were also a few of Christna Noudga’s friends in the courtroom today. Now it has been two full days but the proceedings are covered by a publication ban, so we cannot release the evidence given today.

Also Detective Matt Cavanaugh of the Hamilton police was in attendance today as were friends of the Bosma family. But, Sharlene Bosma was once again absent. She has been told not to attend because she is a potential witness later on in this case. They will reconvene here tomorrow at 10:30 am.
