It is the last full weekend before students head back to school and also the second biggest retail season of the year. A study by Deloitte Canada is projecting many will spend close to a thousand dollars getting ready for the school year.

Back to school season is a three billion dollar industry here in Canada. Half of that is spent on clothing alone. The other half divided between tech supplies as well as books, paper and pencils.
