Austin comments on Williams no~show

While the Hamilton Tiger-Cats do have the decision of an independent arbitrator in their back pocket, they still do not have Chris Williams in camp.
Tuesday, an arbitrator ruled that the final year of Williams contract is legal and binding. But what he didn’t rule is that Williams is legally bound to report. The CFL’s Special Teams Player of the Year remains a no-show and the Ticats have not heard from either the explosive speedster or his agent. Williams does has options, one of them being to sit out the season, under suspension, and then pursue his NFL dream. That seems to be the road he’ll take. That course of action will leave the Ticats having to move forward without their most exciting player; a 25-year old multi-purpose offensive weapon who scored 17 TD’s last season.
