To Ottawa now, where unvetted government contracts and military overspending are the latest findings by Canada’s financial watchdog.
Tuesday, the country’s Auditor General released a new report of it’s audits, tracking the federal government’s performance and transparency.
The auditor’s report flagged a number of issues this time around, dating back to the Trudeau administration.
It included findings that Canada overspent on fighter jets, allowed a backlog on status applications for First Nations people and a number of violations in procurement contracts to the controversial IT firm that created the “Arrivecan” app.
