Atlantic Packaging Products opens new manufacturing plant in Hamilton
The Canadian owned Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. has opened a new manufacturing plant at the Red Hill Business Park in Hamilton.
Earlier Thursday morning the new facility held a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 863 Nebo Road.
A post made on the company reads that the building was developed in response to an increase in local “customer needs”.
The packaging company manufactures products like corrugated boxes, digital printing, recycling services and paper bags.
Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath, who attended the opening ceremony, posted on X just after 11:30 a.m. that the new flagship location will “create good paying jobs for Hamiltonians while strengthening the local supply chain for the food and beverage sector.”
The company says that they are currently hiring to fill the new facility.
