A repeat federal offender who went unlawfully at large last week and was believed to be in the Hamilton area was arrested in Kitchener over the weekend by Waterloo police.

Tyler Harvey, age 38, is serving a three-year sentence for armed robbery and an indictable theft offence under $5,000, as well as failing to comply with several court orders.

The Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad thanked the public for their assistance in the investigation.
