Art Gallery of Hamilton is celebrating its 105th birthday

Art Gallery of Hamilton hosted a picnic and invited the community to introduce or re-acquaint themselves with the gallery.
Organizers want to remind the community the gallery is an informal, public space, not a stuffy gallery.
The event had plenty of art-related activities for the whole family, from a crafts station to a BBQ in the statue garden.
The picnic also offers free tours of exhibits including their new gallery “This is serious”, a collection of Canadian indie comics.
The AGH picnic invited the community to see over 10,000 works of art.
