Arrest made in Waterdown thefts.

The Hamilton Police Service have arrested a male in relation to well over 20 break and enter’s, thefts and vehicle break-in’s. These incidents took place in the Waterdown area along Highway 5 between the Walmart & Canadian Tire plaza all the way to downtown Waterdown.

The Hamilton Police Service was alerted to incidents in Waterdown where a male suspect would enter various businesses and head straight to the employee staff room and remove wallets and personal belongings of employees. Other incidents involved break in’s to business properties, and the theft of several vehicles. At this time no residential break in’s are being linked to this suspect.

The investigation led to the identification of a 38 year old Scott MacMillan of Waterdown.

MacMillan is charged with and Enter – Commit x5, Fraud Under, Theft of Auto Over, Breach Probation x5.
