Arrest in copper theft

A Hamilton man’s been arrested for the theft of copper wire.

Police say a man climbed a hydro pole and started pulling down wires.

He was arrested at a nearby store.

Horizon Utilities have repaired the damages and say there were no disruptions to power in the area.

47 year old Kenneth Edmonds is facing charges.
