Are ADHD meds safe?
If your child has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder there’s probably not a day that goes by that you don’t wonder about the medication he or she takes daily.
Now after a week-long investigative series published by the Toronto Star, you’re likely worrying even more. The front page series last week brought to light serious questions about the impact ADHD meds have on heart function, hallucinations, even suicidal thoughts.
The suggestion made in those articles is that those problems are more common than anyone had thought. Is that perception correct?
