Amber Alert ends after Barrie girl found safe in Toronto

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a three-year-old girl who was the subject of an Amber Alert has been found safe.

OPP issued the alert around midnight on Wednesday after the young girl from Barrie went missing.

Officers confirmed at 8:22 a.m. that the child was located safe and the alert was cancelled.

Ontario Amber Alert has been cancelled. The child has been located safe.

Barrie police said the girl has been found “in good health” in Toronto by the Toronto police and arrangements are being made to return her to Barrie.
