Alleged human trafficker wanted by Hamilton police

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 25-year-old man who is wanted on a number of violent charges.

Detectives are looking for Solomon Houlder, of no fixed address.

Police launched an investigation in November 2018 after they were given information about multiple violent incidents which allegedly involved Houlder.

Investigators say the 25 year old has been actively evading arrest since that time.

Houlder is wanted on several charges including kidnapping, trafficking in persons, forcible confinement, and assault.

Police say the alleged incidents were targeted, however, anyone who sees Houlder should not approach him. Instead, call 911 immediately.

No further information is being release by police in order to protect the identities of the victims.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to call Det. Cst. Scott Yuill at 905-546-8911.
