All Waterloo airport flights cancelled Friday after plane exits runway

All flights have been cancelled at Waterloo International Airport Friday morning after a plane overran the runway, according to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB).
A Flair Airlines plane carrying 134 passengers and six crew members went off the tracks shortly before 6:30 a.m.
No one was injured after the Boeing 737 exited the runway, which departed from Vancouver International Airport.
Flair Airlines F8501 from YVR to Kitchener-Waterloo exited the runway at the end of its landing. There were no reported injuries. Passengers deplaned the aircraft and were taken to the terminal by bus. The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew is our top priority.

Passengers deplaned the aircraft and took a bus to the terminal.
“The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew is our top priority,” a Flair Airlines spokesperson said in a statement.
The cause of the incident remains unclear at this time. TSB says the runway is closed as it investigates.
