Hamilton Junior Bulldogs were up against the Southern Tier Admiralsin the gold medal game of the OMHA minor bantam AAA championship.

The Southern Tier took the early lead and then Karl Lavoie would add his second of the game, giving the Welland team a 2-0 lead in the first. The Junior Bulldogs battled back, with a goal by Christian Girhiny cutting the lead to one.

But Lavoie finished off the hat trick as the Admirals knocked of the defending champs to win gold and the tournament 5-1.
