Halton police say they have identified more victims in relation to an investigation into a child abuse and sexual assault case.

On February 3, 41-year-old Donovan Friesen of Oakville was arrested and charged with three counts of indecent act, 4 counts of indecent exposure to persons under the age of 16 years and invitation to sexual touching.

Previously, on January 22, 2022, police arrested Friesen and charged him with invitation to sexual touching and indecent exposure to a person under 16.

Police say the victim in the assault was a young female. The incidents occurred between January 2019 and October 20, 2022.

Friesen has several online profiles including KiK and Snapchat. He goes by the names of “don987654” and “hannahk975”.

Police say he also has ties to the Oakville Softball Association (OGSA) where he spent time as a coach and manager.

The Oakville Angels released a statement on January 24, 2022 saying all ties have been severed with Friesen and that they have banned him from all events and activities affiliated with the OGSA.

Friesen has been employed as a residential and commercial garage door salesman in the Greater Toronto Area and drives a 2018 red Mini Cooper (4 door hatchback).

Police say they are concerned that there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with additional information to contact them at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.
