A fence between neighbours

The United States is proposing to build fences along its border with Canada to manage “trouble spots” along the 49th parallel.

The American Customs and Border Protection Agency says it’s also considering using radar ground sensors and drones to help keep out terrorists and other criminals.

The agency rules out hiring more U.S. border patrol agents, saying staffing has already been beefed up.
