92-year-old woman killed in crash between car and freight train: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police says a 92-year-old woman has died following a collision in Zorra Township.

It happened at a level rail crossing on 31st Line around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The woman was driving east when she collided with a freight train that was travelling westbound.

OPP say the rail crossing is controlled by flashing lights.

Police have identified the victim as Helen Beggs, of Zorra Township.

The investigation is ongoing.
