Anyone who was near Toronto on Saturday could hear the sounds of a Labour Day tradition.
It was the 65th annual Canadian International Air Show which brought together some of the world’s most powerful and aerobatic planes to the exhibition grounds including Canada’s Snowbirds, and a flying tribute to veterans of the Second World War.
In perfect air show fashion the aircrafts were flawless in formation as they soared across the skies of Toronto.
The Great War Flying Museum honoured the centennial anniversary of World War I with their vintage aircraft.
It was a beautiful day for the spectacle and the fans eagerly awaited Canada’s icons of the air.
The CF Snowbirds wowed the crowds with their high speed aerial performance, their formations with all nine planes and the incredible aerobatics.
The air show continues on Sunday and Monday outside the CNE grounds.
The show runs from 1PM until 4PM.
