60-year-old man wanted for break-in at Niagara retirement home

Niagara Regional Police Service is on the lookout for a man wanted for a series of break-ins at a retirement building in Welland.
Reports were first received on June 9 of a break and enter incident at the building.
Through surveillance footage, officers determined that the suspect entered the property at 12:05 p.m. and entered six unoccupied resident rooms over a 20 minute period.
The suspect fled on foot after being confronted by staff members.
An 18-inch gold chain necklace and one cell phone have been reported as stolen.

Police say they have identified the suspect as 60-year-old Russell John White of Niagara Falls.
White faces four charges in connection with the case, including multiple counts of break and enter and failure to comply with a probation order.
Officers say White has not been taken into custody and is currently wanted for the charges laid.
