Major League Baseball says 58 players and eight staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

These results are from the final round of the intake screening process.

27 of the 30 teams had a person test positive.

The league says players will now get tested every other day, as the pandemic-delayed season approaches.

MLB teams are getting ready for opening day on July 23.

Most Blue Jays players arrived in Toronto from Florida earlier this week to continue spring training.

They have been living at the hotel connected to the Rogers Centre.

The Red Sox and Blue Jays will play two exhibition games at Fenway Park on July 21 and 22.

The Jays will then head down to Tampa Bay for their season opener.
