500 businesses suing insurance companies

Two law firms say they have been contacted by at least 500 businesses since filing a class action lawsuit over unpaid insurance claims during the pandemic.  The suit filed in both Toronto and Vancouver on Friday currently covers 100-thousand Canadian business owners.
It charges insurance companies with failure to pay out business interruption claims in relation to the pandemic.
