Niagara police have arrested five residents from Fort Erie following a month-long investigation.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the area of Douglas Ave. and Bertie St. in Fort Erie on Friday.

Police seized roughly fentanyl, cocaine, $4,500 in crystal meth, a hatchet and $1,700 in cash.

Adam Farago, 40, Ed Carnegie, 26, Caroline Ward, 41, Patrick Chow, 41 and Gerry Lomascolo, 56 have been arrested and face several drug trafficking charges.
