407 snarled after big rigs crash

The OPP have re-opened the two left lanes of Highway 407 westbound in Milton.

The closure came after a serious collision that injured six people around 7 this morning. Two tractor-trailers collided and rolled over. One of the trailers spilled its cargo, but fortunately, only a minimal amount of fuel leaked onto the road.

Paramedics and fire crews arrived on scene and an Ornge air ambulance took off with a patient. There’s no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
