3-year-old boy struck by vehicle in Brantford

A 3-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was hit by a vehicle outside a townhouse complex in Brantford.

Police say the boy was riding through the parking lot on a small scooter just after 4 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck.

The child was rushed to McMaster Children’s Hospital with a head injury but is expected to be okay.

The Brantford Police Service Traffic Unit is currently investigating and would like to speak with any witnesses.
