3 people charged in $90,000 taxi fraud: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police has arrested three people in connection with a fraud investigation at a taxi company in Simcoe.

Back in 2017, members of Ontario Works contacted police after they discovered several inconsistencies in financial transactions at a local taxi company.

Police allege the fraud took place in Norfolk County between 2014 and 2017.

Gregory Ritchie, 29, Wendy Ritchie, 53, and Jordan Petrella, 46, have been arrested and charged with fraud over $5,000.

They are all scheduled to appear in court on March 10.
