An early morning collision in Milton left three people dead, with Halton police now saying the victims include two teenagers and one man in his 20s.

According to police, the two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Sixth Line and Derry Rd around 3:20 a.m. on Saturday.

The three victims, a 16-year-old girl, an 18-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, were all pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police say that the 16 and 18-year-old were travelling together in a black Infiniti G35, and the other involved vehicle was a Honda CRV.

The driver in the Honda CRV was identified as Mousawar Ahmed on Saturday by a GoFundMe campaign.

In just two days, the campaign managed to raise over $100,000.

Many of the comments praise Ahmed as a dear friend who worked hard to support his family.

“Mousawar was truly a people person. I remember him as being an upbeat, burst of positivity early mornings before beginning our 3 a.m. shift,” writes Shardul Bichkar.

“Very honest and hardworking person. Rest in peace brother, you will be sorely missed. – Your work family.”

Due to the severity of the incident, the region’s collision reconstruction unit has taken over the ongoing investigation.
