27-year-old Cambridge man killed in crash on Hwy 8 in Flamborough, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a crash on Highway 8 in Flamborough, Ont. that took a man’s life Sunday.

Officers say they responded to the crash near Lynden Road on Feb. 22, at around 5:40 p.m. where they found that a 27-year-old Cambridge, Ont. man had died.

Investigators say a 69-year-old Hamilton man was also involved in the crash and brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives say they remained at the scene and had Highway 8 closed for several hours for an investigation; the highway was reopened at around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
