Police say they have arrested a 25-year-old man after a stabbing Friday afternoon just north of downtown Brantford.
At approximately 2:12 p.m., officers responded to a report of an altercation between two men in the area of Chatham and Queen streets.
Upon arrival, authorities located one of the men involved in the altercation with non-life threatening injuries. He was treated on scene but later transported to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
Investigators say the altercation is an isolated incident, adding there is no threat to public safety. Both men have been identified.
As a result, a 25-year-old Brantford man is in custody and facing the following charges:
