2022 Juno Award nominations

The nominees for the 51st Annual Juno Awards were announced today.
Charlotte Cardin leads this year’s Juno Award nominees. The Montreal pop singer-songwriter has six nods. Next in line, Justin Bieber and the Weeknd each nabbed five.
Cardin is in the running in key categories including artist of the year and album of the year for her full-length debut Phoenix. The track Meaningless is nominated for single of year.
Other contenders include Shawn Mendes with four nominations, Vancouver pop newcomer Jessia and a rising Toronto rapper, Pressa.
The Juno Awards are set to be held in-person for the first time in three years at Toronto’s open-air Budweiser Stage on May 15. It will be hosted by Kim’s Convenience and Shang-Chi star Simu Liu.
Performers at the event will include Cardin, Arkells, Avril Lavigne and Mustafa.
