2020 Caledonia Fair cancelled due to COVID-19

The 2020 Caledonia Fair has been cancelled because of COVID-19.

Organizers say it would have been impossible to ensure physical distancing and keep everyone safe.

The event sees about 30,000 visitors each year.

The Caledonia Fair was first held in 1873.

The only other year a fair didn’t take place was in 1937 because of a Polio epidemic.

The 148^th edition of the fair will instead take place on Sept. 30 – Oct. 3, 2021.
