2 hospitalized after fire at St. Catharines congregate living setting
Two people are in hospital following a fire at a congregate living setting in St. Catharines late Monday night.
Fire Chief Dave Upper says an alarm at 30 Bellevue Terrace sounded shortly after 11:30 p.m.
Crews reportedly arrived to find a room on fire inside of the building.
Within 20 minutes, firefighters rescued three residents and extinguished the blaze.

Paramedics say two of the rescued residents were transported to hospital, where one of them remains in critical condition.
The Canadian Red Cross has been called in to help 13 more displaced residents.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has been notified.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
