Man charged after woman sexually assaulted in Spencer Smith Park

Halton police have released a photo of a man accused of sex assault to see if any other potential victims recognize him.

Thirty-four year-old Vezio Cardullo faces several charges after a woman was attacked Sunday in Burlington. Police say she was approached by a man around 8:30 Sunday night – along the shores of Spencer Smith Park. He then attacked the woman but she managed to escape.

Cardullo is charged with three counts of sexual assault- including sexual assault with a weapon, one count of assault and one count of robbery.
